My name is Laura and this is my little corner of the internet. I write about faith, homemaking, and motherhood. Since June 2015, I’ve been married to my college sweetheart. We have two young sons.

Right now I’m in a season of homemaking. 1st Corinthians 10:31 says “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” Thus, this blog is titled Homemaking for His Glory. My desire is to bring glory to Him in all things, even the seemingly mundane. I want to encourage you to live your life for God’s glory, and to bring praise to His name through whatever means He has given you.

Before I was married, I was an overachieving nerd. While I must admit that I’m still probably a nerd, I’ve been learning to rest in the security of God’s love, rather than in the security of my achievements.

I hope my blog is a blessing to you! You can email me at homemakingforhisglory[AT]gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

  1. Hi! Good luck with things. Life changes fast, but it’ll be okay! I graduated from high school, got married, my husband graduated college, we moved, he started his first real job and we had a baby all in one 12 month period. Looking back, it’s a wonder we managed to stay married! That’s a lot of change all at once.

That was 19 years ago, and now, 4 babies later, we’ve thrived in spite of the challenges.
